Q: What is your name, and tell us a little about yourself?
I am Ritika Banerjee, a cultural anthropologist studying rituals of transition—birth, death, devotion, and celebration.

Q: How did you reason when you decided how to craft your perfume?
I named this perfume Passage because rituals mark movement, not arrival. Smoke, dry florals, ash, and marigold coexist in our ceremonies. I selected Water as my element, because it carries memory forward. My intention was Acceptance—because change is rarely singular.

Q: How was the result, and how does it make you feel?
Like standing between what was and what will be. Heavy, sacred, reassuring.
